We anticipate that at this years Young Child Expo & Conference there will be approximately 75% professionals, 20% parents, 5% students. Professionals are estimated to include 40% teachers (regular & special education), 60% all other early childhood professionals (e.g., social workers, occupational, speech, physical therapists, psychologists, parent educators). Decision makers/Program administrators are estimated to be 40% of the professional attendees representing center and home-based programs serving typically developing and special needs children.

The Graduate School of Education serves students who are engaged in professional development of teachers, counselors, and school leaders in master’s, advanced certificate, and doctoral degree and certification programs. The faculty of the Graduate School of Education are scholars who conduct cutting-edge research and practitioners who can apply the best instructional practices in K-12 schools.
Los Niños Services mission is “to be of great service to others.” About 1500 families a year receive services from Los Niños Services for their young children with special needs in New York City and Westchester County. The Early Intervention Program is funded and regulated by the New York State Department of Health and, in New York City, by the New York City Department of Mental Health, Mental Retardation, and Alcoholism Services, and in Westchester County by the Westchester County Department of Health.
